Meet our Farmers

Bluebird Grain Farms produces some of the finest 100% organic grains, fresh-milled flour and whole-grain blends just over the mountains is Winthrop, WA. The family run farm grows, mills and sells all of their own products in what they call a true 'plow to package' system.

Breadfarm is an artisan bakery committed to sustainable food production. They use old fashioned techniques and natural leavening to ensure moistness and flavor in their loaves. Their bakery is located in Bow.

Cascadia Mushrooms is NW Washington's only certified organic mushroom farm.  Alex has an amazing farm in North Bellingham and produces both Shiitake and Oyster Mushrooms.

Fresh Breeze is operated by a fifth generation dairy family located in Lynden.  They produce certified organic milk in glass bottles including Cream Top and Homogenized Milk, Half and Half, Heavy Cream, Chocolate Milk and Eggnog. 

Produces artisan goat cheeses from their herd of purebred LaMancha goats. Rhonda makes this amazing cheese on her farm in Bow. Her animals are so well cared for she has commented that she would love to come back as one of her goats.

This Food Alliance Certified family run farm supplies us with a large variety of dried beans grown in Quincy, WA.

Dave Hedlin is farming 400 acres in the beautiful Skagit Valley.  His farm was established by his great grandfather in 1906 and has since been a supplier of seed crops, a variety of berries and vegetables, and wheat.  

Craig and Kelly Mayberry's mission is to promote food diversity through the produciton of rare breed livestock and heirloom vegetables.  Their farm is located in Lynden.

Pete and Dorene Dykstra are the owners of Hopewell Farm, an organic dairy, berry and vegetable farm located in Everson Washington.

Recognized as the only solar powered fishery in the world, and also listed on the World's Top 10 Greenest Seafoods.  Lummi Island Wild uses and ancient technique that does not require chasing the fish creating no water, air, or noice disturbance.

This farm is run by three Mom's located in Acme.  They grow and arrange amazing flowers, produce, eggs, and pork. Check out their farm at their annual Harvest Festival this October.

Founded in 1998, this Certified Organic and biodynamic farm produces some of the most amazing soaps and honey you will EVER try! Located off Highway 9 just South of Van Zandt.

BIlly is our main produce supplier and is the farmer we work closely with to feed families accross Whatcom and Skagit County. His Certified Organic produce is unbelievable! Moondance is currently farming three properties in Acme including the Hudson Farm. We are VERY fortunate to get to work with them.

Sources the best local milk on the Olympic Peninsula to create fine artisan cheeses with a sense of place.  Their small creamery is located in Port Townsend.

This orchard is now focused on turning their delicious, Certified Organic fruit into value added items that include preserves and dried fruit.  All the processing happens right on the farm just outside Wenatchee.

Marv and Lynn have over 3,500 lavender plants on their farm.  They are also our largest egg supplier.  This is a beautiful farm for the senses located just outside of Ferndale.

Located on the Eastside of the mountains, this family farm produces many items that are a bit tougher to grow in Whatcom County.
